emotions about the summer 2019 from our female DJs

DJANEMAG congratulate you on the beginning of autumn.

Summer was intense and vibrant.

We invited our female DJs to share their memories and emotions about the summer, and asked them some questions.

Below you can read the answers by DJ Maya, DJ Lizzy Yao, DJ Leenata. 

DJ Maya - INTERNATIONAL DJ from Ukraine. Now based in China , Wuxi city.

1) What was the most striking impression of your summer 2019?

- The most striking impression was some Dj’s that played on Tomorrowland, and that impression wasn’t good .

Sad that some festival becomes worth coz they just wanna make more money without putting soul.

2) What festival or gig did you like most this summer? Why?

- Chainsmokers Concert really open for me new level of Dj’s performance . Balance with electronic music and pop songs feels cool.

3) What are your plans for Fall?

- Wanna go for Skrillex performance and Rezz.

DJ Lizzy Yao, Chinese born DJ & Music producer.

1) What was the most striking impression of your summer 2019?

- My summer inspiration ; is all based on my intention - to share good vibes and positive vibes.

2) What festival or gig did you like most this summer? Why?

- House Of Vans x Boiler Room x Seoul Community Radio LIVE DJ set; great vibes and especially when I play my own produced track "Ye Shanghai" some Korean hip-hop artist walk in and we did free style jam & Rap session was fun.... that's why I love DJ so much is eveything is unknown and a live energy exchange.

3) What are your plans for Fall?

- Am looking forward to tmrw's show in Shanghai Jingan Kerry Center to launch my friend Nicole Zhang's Art Show "LOVE is LOVE" - Sept 21; back in China and play for my homegirl it's gonna be very special and fun. the cruated space is do dope and amazing light and insulation, you guys shall come check it out.

DJ Leenata - International top DJ/ sound producer and vocalist Leenata.

1) What was the most striking impression of your summer 2019?

- The most vivid impression was left of the tour in Nepal and Europe. And also my vacation is the first in 3 years to spend a fight with my family, friends and writing a new album, which will be released soon.

2) What festival or gig did you like most this summer? Why?

1. Festival lineup: Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Carl Cox, DJ Snake, Afrojack, Adam Beyer, Above & Beyond, The Chainsmokers

3) What are your plans for Fall?

- Autumn is planning a big Asian tour and the release of my new album. So just follow my news.
