First-ever EDC China, set to debut in April

First-ever EDC China, set to debut Sunday, April 29, and Monday, April 30, at Shanghai International Music Park in Shanghai, China.

As the third home for EDC in Asia, the inaugural EDC China will bring all the magic and imagination that has made our beloved festival a truly global phenomenon. For two fun-filled days, we’re transforming the vast city landscape in the heart of Shanghai into an unparalleled festival experience via imaginative theatrical performers, incredible fireworks displays, and a stacked lineup featuring the world’s top dance music artists across three fantastical stages.

Originally launched in 1997 in Los Angeles with a small crowd of dance music lovers, EDC has since grown exponentially, having hosted more than 1 million fans worldwide throughout its 22-year history. EDC China marks the festival’s sixth international destination and the latest global chapter in EDC history.

Shanghai should prepare for an international invasion of the highest caliber. Australia's Alison Wonderland will be a jumping bean behind the decks. Drum'n'bass icon Andy C will put a hurting on the speakers. Canadian superstar deadmau5 will conjure a strange world of sight and sound, while Hardwell will bring the best hard electro the Netherlands has to offer. Martin Garrix will mix the worlds of pop and underground, NGHTMRE will blend bass with musicality, Tchami and Malaa will hold it down for dark French house, and so much more.
